Advanced Building of Online Communites
This assignment required us to search for online communities that pertain to our proposed dissertation topic in order to get a better understanding of what already exists in the field. I submitted a review on online communities pertaining to ClassDojo.
This assignment was a collaborative project with Karen Cotter and Barbara McCarty that required us to understand and analyze an organization's online community strategy. We chose to interview the founder of "The School Librarian’s Workshop," a thriving Facebook community.
This assignment consisted of creating an online community to illustrate my understandings and knowledge acquisition from this course. I decided to develop an online community that provides a place for parents to learn more about ClassDojo and its features and to keep up to date with new features of the program.
